Hours of Operation: From March to October the chapel is open from 9:30am – 6:00pm.  From November to February it is open from 9:00am – 5:00pm.

Admission: Adults 8€, Ages 18 – 25 5€, Under 17 gets in for free

Get There: Take metro line M4 to either Cite or Saint-Michel station.  Suburban Rail lines Rer B or C will also get you there; just take it to Saint-Michel – Notre-Dame station.

The Sainte-Chapelle, the palatine chapel in the courtyard of the royal palace on the Île de la Cité, was built to house precious relics: Christ’s crown of thorns, the Image of Edessa and thirty other relics of Christ that had been in the possession of Louis IX since August 1239.
